The Lawyer. The Record. The Standard.

There are attorneys who practice law.

Grady C. Irvin, Jr. lives it.   For more than thirty years, he has appeared before federal and state judges across Florida and beyond, tried cases with outcomes that mattered far beyond the courtroom, and built a reputation that his peers -- including sitting judges -- have put in writing. He does not take easy cases because there are no easy cases. There are only clients, and they all deserve the same thing: his best effort, every time.

The Formation
Grady Irvin grew up with his father's voice in his ear: work hard, pray hard, and everything important in life will turn out to be okay. He took that seriously. He earned his undergraduate degree with honors from Bethune-Cookman College, went on to Stetson University College of Law (where he became one of the most decorated members on the University’s nationally recognized mock trial teams), and built a career that would eventually put him on the same stage as Larry King, Good Morning America, CBS Morning News, the Today Show, Fox, CNN, and ESPN.   The name on the firm is not ego. It is a tribute.

The Record

He has served as lead trial counsel in nationally recognized cases spanning criminal defense and civil litigation. He has stood beside clients accused of things the public had already decided -- and given them what the Constitution guarantees.

In 2017, he was featured in Showtime documentary "Disgraced" which examined the murder of Baylor University basketball star Patrick Dennehy -- a case that raised serious questions about institutional power, mental competency, and whether justice was actually served. "Carlton Dotson wasn't your cancer. He is a byproduct of your cancer."

He has served as staff counsel with the professional football players union. He has argued before the U.S. Court of Appeals. He is admitted to The Florida Bar, the U.S. Court of Appeals (Eleventh Circuit), and the U.S. District Court for both the Middle and Northern Districts of Florida.
