Tamara
Felton Irvin, the proud mother of three wonderful
children, brings an added dimension to the firm in
the areas of civil and business litigation.
In 1997,
she was in the inaugural graduating class of Stetson
University College of Law’s joint J.D./M.B.A.
program. She is also a 1991 honors graduate of Florida A&M
University’s School of Business & Industry (“SBI”);
at the time, SBI had the highest concentration of
black National Merit Scholars than any other
undergraduate institution.
Ms.
Irvin, a former Assistant State Attorney and
employee with The Florida Bar’s Division on Lawyer
Regulation, is serving a four-year term as a
commissioner on the Sixth Judicial Circuit
Nominating Commission. She continues to serve on
the Board of Governors of All Children’s Hospital
(St. Petersburg), and is an officer of the Alpha
Kappa Alpha Sorority, as well as the Fred G. Minnis
Bar Association.
In
addition to the Irvin Law Firm’s well-known criminal
trial practice in State and Federal courts, Ms.
Irvin, a licensed real estate agent,
former principal counsel for a development
corporation, and general counsel for a religious
entity will advance
the firm’s practice in the areas of real estate law,
probate law, business litigation, church law and personal
injury practice. She is licensed to practice in
state and federal courts.
