Scott McCluskey
brings a wealth of experience to the firm’s trial
practice, and will handle a variety of matters not
only in the firm’s state and federal criminal trial
section, but also the firm’s evolving personal
injury practice.
Mr. McCluskey, an honors graduate from the
University of Toledo (B.A., 1981), is a seasoned
criminal defense attorney, with more than 15 years
of practice before judges in the Tampa Bay area. A
member of The Florida Bar since 1984, Mr. McCluskey
first began practicing before the Tampa Bay area’s
criminal bench in 1985. He is a graduate of the
University of Toledo’s College of Law (1984).
Before going into private practice in 2001, Mr. McCluskey was a member of the Public Defender’s
offices in Sixth Judicial Circuit (seven years) and
Thirteenth Judicial Circuit (eight years). Mr.
McCluskey is licensed to practice in Florida’s state
and federal courts. He is also admitted to practice
before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh
Circuit (Atlanta, Georgia).
